The Executive Board is currently seeking nominations to fill the open board seat of Secretary of Cheerleading. This position is for the remainder of the 2010 season and all of the 2011 season. Nominations will be accepted until Thursday 8/12 at which time the board will select the new secretary during the board meeting. All interested candidates should see any current board member to have their name placed in nomination prior to Thursday evenings board meeting.

Hello Again,

While we had a great turn out this past Saturday for equipment returns and jacket fittings there are still a number of players and cheerleaders that have equipment and have not ordered their jackets. Our final equipment return as well as jacket fittings will be held this Saturday 1/30 at 9:00am at the clubhouse. Orders for the jackets will be tallied and submitted shortly after Saturday's fitting so do not miss out. Also invoices for outstanding equipment will be mailed if not returned on Saturday as well. Hope to see everyone there.

Hello All,

We will be collecting uniforms and equipment  on Saturday January 23, 2010 at the clubhouse in East Greenwich according to the following schedule:

9am; PomPom, PeeWee, Freshman Football & Cheerleading

10:30am; Sophomore Football & Cheerleading

11:30am; Junior Football & Cheerleading

12:30pm; Senior Football & Cheerleading

Please help us minimize off season work by bringing all equipment and uniforms back washed and cleaned!

Also during these times each child will be able to receive his or her trophy as well as be fitted for their jacket. The purchase of the jackets for the 2009 season will be the responsibility of the parents. Participants from the freshman and senior teams are eligible for a hooded pullover as division winners at a cost of $40.00 per jacket. Participants from the sophomore and junior teams are eligible for the leather sleeve championship jackets at a cost of $150.00 per jacket up to an adult large and an additional $5.00 per jacket for each X added to the size up to XXX. The full cost of the jackets will be due at the time the order is placed. Delivery is estimated at 4 to 6 weeks. Parents will also be able to cast their ballots during this time as we will hold our annual election for the 2010 Executive Board. The new board will be seated as of the February Executive Board Meeting. Thanks for everyone's patients and Hope to see you all there. For anyone who purchased the Pennsville game DVD if you haven't picked your copy up by then I will have the DVD's there for pickup as well.

To All KYF&C Members,

Hope everyone enjoyed this past Holiday Season as it was much earned time off for everyone. I'd like to congratulate all of our football players and cheerleaders for a fine season as this was the first time all of our teams finished as division champs. Great job!! A special congratulations to our Sophomore and Junior Teams for completing their seasons as the TCMFL League Champs !! Also another Kingsway first with two teams winning the overall championship. Super Job!! With that said we still have some unfinished 2009 business that must be taken care of so we cn close the books on last year and begin planning for the 2010 season. Please keep an eye on the blog as I will be posting information for close out items overthe next week. Thanks to all for your continued support and look forward to seeing everyone in the new season.

PS Anyone who purchased a DVD from the Pennsville regular season game I have all the DVD's at my house. Please call to make arrangements for pick up.

All Parents,

There is a slight change in the schedule for this weekend as the Sophomore Division game will be played on Saturday 10/31/2009 starting at 10:00am. Please check with your coaches for arrival time information. All other games will remain the same as originally scheduled.

Also a reminder that VIP videos will be filming all four games when we compete against the Pennsville Eagles on Saturday 11/7/2009. Everyone is encouraged to use the web site to purchase the CD's as well as fill out the bio form that will be used during the announcing of the game. Any player or cheerleader who did not have their picture taken for the head shot reel when VIP was there the first time can have their picture taken this Friday evening at the Locke Avenue practice fields. You can also purchase the CD's on Friday evening.

To All KYFC Members,

With the impending rain storm and a prediction for as much as two inches of rain for this coming Saturday I have made a decision to move our scheduled games in an effort to protect the new playing field from severe damage. The following will be the revised schedule for this week end:

Friday Evening 10/23/2009

Freshman start time 6:30pm,Juniors start time 8:30pm

Sunday Afternoon 10/25/2009

Sophomores start time 12:00pm, Seniors start time 2:00pm, Powder Puff start time 4:00pm

We will still conduct Parents Day as originally scheduled so all players and cheerleaders should be at their respective games in uniform. Players and cheerleaders will be directed by their coaches what time they should be at the field and all parents should be at the field at least 45 minutes prior to game time to participate in the parents day ceremony.

The Executive Board met with Shawn Leary of VIP Video at last week's board meeting to discuss the possibility of having all of our games Freshman thru Senior division filmed during our games vs Millville scheduled for Saturday October 17. Please read the following info sent by Shawn explaining what is involved. Please let your coaches know if you are interested in the DVD so we will know if we can fulfill our obligation of 20 DVD's per squad. The ordering info is contained in the info below and is completed directly thru VIP Videos.

VIP Video is producing DVDs for the Tri-County Midget Football League,
and Comcast has agreed to televise those games on its cable system.

Coaches,

Just a reminder that tonight is clock school at the FOP in Pennsville beginning at 8:00pm. Each team must have certified clock operators in order for the clock to run on the field during games. This applies to both Varsity and JV games.

Just a reminder that tonight Monday August 10 we will hold our parents meeting at the Locke Ave. practice field in Woolwich Twp. beginning promptly at 7:00pm. It is mandatory that at least one parent for each child in the program be present for this meeting. We will also kick off our Joe Corbis fundraiser this evening. Looking forward to seeing everyone this evening.
